Free downloadable video talk to law school students on the WGA strike given by Steve Diamond (and with some insights into how the actors negotiations may go):
Steve Diamond was a candidate for National Executive Director of SAG (the chief negotiator's position in SAG)...he's making his living as a professor at Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California.
It's a very valuable recapitulation of events and entities that have risen into prominence in the past six months, simultaneously providing a much clearer sense of who the many organizations represent and the nature of the ongoing conflict.
I wish he'd spoken at greater length about the probable roles of technology, new capital and UGC in the future, but THANK YOU for the link to the very first mention by any credible authority of the unexplored potential clout of an informed general public.
Warning; there's a 1-second BLAST of pink noise at about 2minutes40 from the end of this exellent presentation.
